Introduction

Hui Oi Chow Science Building is located on the main campus of the University of Hong Kong, Pokfulam, Mid-Levels, Western District, Hong Kong. It was donated by the patriotic giant Xu Aizhou and his son Xu Shifen. There are also Xu Shifen Geological Museum, Lishuxiong Science Museum, Hong Kong University Bookstore, etc. nearby. The Science Museum has 4 floors and displays more than 650 scientific exhibits that are both educational, interesting and interactive, which is very suitable for parents and children to visit.

Accessibility description

There are a number of barrier-free facilities, including entrances and exits, passages, lifts and accessible toilets, etc. The design fully considers the needs of wheelchairs/persons with reduced mobility. Most of the uneven places are equipped with ramps, and the ramps are relatively flat, so wheelchair users can easily get on and off.

 FG Tips

The campus is large, but barrier-free facilities are sufficient, so wheelchair users can safely go there alone.
