Introduction

Is Long Yuetou's name special? According to legend, dragons live in the mountains to the northeast of Fanling, New Territories, and sometimes jump, hence the name. Also related to the dragon is the Deng family, a descendant of the royal family who lives here. At the end of the Southern Song Dynasty, the princess of the Song family who fled to the south married Deng Weiji and opened a village here for more than 800 years. Along the Longyuetou Cultural Relic Trail, you can walk between nature and historical sites, and visit the traces of the royal family. Many fenced villages still retain the traditional festival customs and show ample local life and culture.
