Introduction

Peng Chau Island is located in the southeast of Discovery Bay on Lantau Island, with an area of 0.99 square kilometers. Peng Chau looks like a "concave" character, and the sinking place is Dongwan. The south and north sides are called Nanwan and Beiwan respectively. Finger Mountain is the highest point on the island, 95 meters above sea level, overlooking Hong Kong Disneyland and Discovery Bay. Shops in Peng Chau are concentrated around the pier. Walking into this small island of only one square kilometer, the pace will naturally slow down and feel the simplicity and tranquility.

Accessibility description

There are few barrier-free facilities on Peng Chau Island. Only the wharf is equipped with accessible toilets. The streets on the island are generally flat and wide, which are generally suitable for wheelchairs/handicapped people. However, some scenic spots, such as Tianhou Temple and Golden Flower Temple, have stone steps in front of the entrances and exits, which are narrow and not suitable for wheelchair users.

 FG Tips

Peng Chau is an outlying island area, and the streets on the island are still wide. It is recommended that people with wheelchairs do not go alone.
