Pok Oi Hospital inherits and carries forward the "fraternity" spirit advocated by the founding father Sun Yat-sen, promotes charity and welfare services in Hong Kong, seeks well-being for the disadvantaged, and cultivates a harmonious social culture. Pok Oi Hospital was founded in 1919. For 97 years, it has been serving the community based on the principle of "benefit to all, charity and love", and is committed to developing Chinese and Western medical, education and social services. There are now 84 services. Units spread across Hong Kong, Kowloon, the New Territories and outlying islands, benefiting as many as 800,000 people each year.
